1. Who am I?

My name is Carla.  I’m thirty something, living in the Midwest of the United States.  I have a Bachelors degree in English, and I currently work in banking.

2. What do I do?

I write, primarily, when I’m not working at my day job. The dream of most writers is to be able to write full-time without worrying if we have enough to keep the lights on, but for now I write on my lunch break and devour the words as often as I can.

3. Why Salisbury.Fake?

Everyone’s had a rough version of salisbury steak, and I’ve been vegetarian since February 2016, so I thought I’d incorporate my love of words and food all in one pun.

4. What kind of website is this?

I’ve turned an old food blog into a writer’s website. There are still some recipes floating around in the ether, but for the most part I talk about books and writing. Sometimes there’s pictures, sometimes there’s just words.
